It’s time for #thriftscorethursday !

thrift score thursday10Pin

New here?  Let me explain!

We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!

Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and ProperCorinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

This week we have my good friend Kris from Driven by Decor here as guest host!  She has been hustling to get her house on the market and still managed to find some thrifty awesomeness for you.

TST Guest Host KrisPin

I am really stoked about my find…. Lately I have been wanting a bird bath for our garden.  I was thinking I would dig up my hens & chicks which are sort of being drowned out by oregano and mint, and plant them in a birdbath like I saw here.  Well, last week I was setting up at Sweet Clover when my landlord told me she was planning to have a yard sale at our next sale.  She pointed to a couple of things she was going to sell, one of them being a bird bath.  (If you are Gretchen, stop reading here because you will be jealous).  And not just any bird bath, but a squirrel bird bath!  I asked her how much she was selling it for and she told me I could have it for $55.  SOLD!  I took it home yesterday and we need to place it in the yard, but here it is in all it’s squirrelly glory!

IMG_2481PinI mean, it’s a squirrel on a tree trunk bird bath!  And it’s vintage!  Does it get any better than that?  I will tell you the answer, my friends.  No.  It does not.

Now I want to share my features for the week….

First of all, check out this amazing chair Avery of Hou and Me found.  Isn’t it so fun?tst avery_hungrycaterpillarPin

You can find Avery on instagram here.

Check out this deconstructed modern chair that Colleen of 58 Water Street found.  Who knew that gorgeous shape was hiding under there?  Well, Colleen’s mom for one.tst colleen_58waterstreetPin

You can find Colleen on instagram here.

And finally, how rad are these outdoor seat cushions that Thrifted Riches found.  I love them all so much but I think the bunny is my favorite.tst thrifted richesPinYou can find Thrifted Riches on instagram here.

Be sure to visit my cohosts to see their own finds and features this week!

And don’t forget if you have a thrifted item you are lost on what to do with…. Hit us up for ideas by using #DearTST and we will give you advice.

That’s all for now- see you back here next week with more awesome finds and features.  Until then, happy hunting!

I bet Gretchen will be quite jealous! I think if I saw that out my window I’d think there was a squirrel trying to hang out in the bath– at least for the first couple glances!
