Happy Thrift Score Thursday!thrift score thursday12

If you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is.  We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!  And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!

Each week Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For A Designer at Home,  Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios, and  once monthly a guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

I made it by the skin of my teeth this week.  I forgot to take home the really fun quirky piece I wanted to show you from Sweet Clover.  So again it sits and waits for its debut.  Yesterday I hit the thrift shops and didn’t find much, but I did see this chair and ran to it with open arms!!!Snowball in Wicker Peacock ChairAs you can see, I recruited a model.  Emmy was acting as assistant and was sitting her on the chair and running off to the side and Snowball’s eyes stayed on Emmy.Snowball in wicker chairShe wasn’t too excited about sitting in this chair.. she wanted to get down but was afraid to jump.Snowball in Wicker ChairThese two…Emmy & Snowball

Now for my features this week…

Jen of Green Spruce Designs found this desk and gave it a facelift.  It makes the perfect nightstand/desk workhorse, and the styling is spot on.tst jengreen_greensprucedesignsYou can find Jen on instagram here.

Emily from The Wicker House found this rattan coffee table that looks AMAZING in her living room.  This girl’s home is a long time favorite of mine!

I couldn’t feature one rattan coffee table without the other!  Christine scored this beauty and I love how fun it looks in her eclectic space.

Stephanie from Casa Watkins scored these funky gourd shaped vases and gave them an update with some paint!

And lastly, I had to share this Dala horse from Jenn at Suite22 Antiques.  It’s exactly like the one I have that came from my Swedish grandmother!tst suite22 antiquesFind Jenn on instagram here.

That’s all I have for you this week, but make sure to visit my cohosts to see their own finds as well as their features.

That chair does take up quite a bit of real estate. I spotted a beautiful Serena and Lily version full of scrolls and pattern at a consignment store but I just couldn’t think where it would go and it still wasn’t a supper deal so I passed. They are pretty cool though, as well as everyone’s great rattan find this week. Love those coffee tables. Rattan is in the air…

I love your chair but even more I love those adorable pictures you took of it with Snowball and Emmy! So freaking adorable! And all your features have this same relaxed, light and bright vibe to them – just a perfect collection for spring!
