Before I begin- don’t forget to enter the custom bottle opener giveaway!  TODAY is your last chance to enter!!!!

So yesterday, there were a few yard sales going on in my area.  I have raised my kids to love yard sales, too.  They love finding treasures.  We headed to the grocery store first, and then off to yard sales- my first of the season!  I spent a total of $7 and check out what I got!

There is a magazine rack, some cute vintage children’s books, 2 vintage aprons, and of course an owl, bunny, and 2 deer.
Check out the cute books- all for $1!

And the critters… the deer are tiny and so cute and only 10 cents each!  the bunny was 25 cents and the owl 10.  the deer are already in Emmy’s woodland room.

Another thrifty find the other day was this cute shirt from Goodwill for $5!  Sorry for the horrible picture, but you get the idea!  And I have owned those jeans now for over 9 years.  And I still love them! They have gotten mileage.

Now let’s check out the POWW faves!

Sunshine on the Inside shared this amazing campaign desk!  LOVE LOVE LOVE WANT!  And have a look at all the other cool things in this picture.  Someone’s got style!

This table from Paisley and Polka Dot Threads is pure woodland fantasy and I love it!  SO stinkin’ cute! I am sharing a close up so you can see the amazing handpainted details….

I love this fun vanity from A Girl and  a Brush!  The colors are fabulous!

How fun and retro glam is this table from Little Red Chair?  And she also shared a fabulous  mirror in the link!

Richmond is not too far from me…. Erin (aka Richmond Thrifter), if you hear anything go bump in the night, it is NOT me coming to get this table from you.  Promise.

And finally, Jacqueline of My Simple Home Life shared this amazing herringbone table…. love the colors and design! (And staging with an owl always earns my love.)

OOH AAAH.  Seriously you are all AMAZING!!!  Thank you for your constant inspiration.  I love this party so much and love seeing all of your creative minds at work.  Happy Saturday!

I need to hit more yard sales this year. Love the campaign desk with the ghost chair. I think that would like quite nice in my office plan.

I love seeing what others find at yard sales and thrift stores. I plan on posting my finds also! When my children were younger, they were always looking for yard sales. They would scream out “Yard Sale!” every time they saw someone’s clothes hanging out on the clothes line to dry! We still laugh about that!
