I kicked off the weekend at last nights Wine & Design! The theme was clay, so we all worked on our own clay projects, except for Tracy and Sarah who come hang out and crochet. And let me say now that I must have had more wine than I realized so I apologize for the poor photo quality. They sure looked ok last night!
My mom made some adorable garden tags that are going on wooden stakes. I love the fairy one the best!
I made thee little bunting banners, and told Sawyer they were going in the playroom and asked him to choose a word. You can see what he picked, and he came up with it all on his own! They will be used for a project soon I will be sharing at The DIY Club.
I also made a bunch of smaller tags to use on gifts, bottles of wine for hostess’, and more!
Here is the beginnings of a poncho Tracy is making for her daughter Sabrina. She said we can see the final product in 2014.
Sarah worked on a sweater for her mom. I know it’s not done, but I couldn’t help but ask if her mom liked belly-bearing shirts! π I know it is going to be awesome when complete!!! These crocheting girls have some patience!
Jazz made this adorable clay cupcake for her daughter. I think the plan was to paint it later! So cute!!! Oh, and she made a little clay sand dollar…. better than killing the real things, right? π
Andi made a sand dollar as well, and an adorable summery bunting which is going on a mini grapevine wreath. I love it!
Emily made blue clay markers for her pet baskets! Love this idea!!! By the way, her dog is called “Nubbystuffers” due to his nubby tail. I love that, too!
And now just because this is my blog and I can, here is a picture of Charlie hanging out under the breakfast table this morning as my kids ate. He just looked so cute, and as tired as I felt so I had to snap a picture! Charlie turned 11 this past may, and is my first baby. π
Today was BUSY. The work on our sunporch began, we had a birthday party, I bought a cool vintage bed, and then we were off to see this girl dance!
Emmy hammed it up for me in the front yard, but then let me know she was done getting her picture taken… she is a Prima Ballerina, for sure!
And here are my two most favorite kids in the world! Look how she loves her brother!
Ok, I won’t bore you anymore with pictures of my kids…. I have to wait to get the recital pics from my dad to do that! She danced beautifully, I was so proud of her, and I cried…. I was just so happy! We finished the night with dinner at our favorite pizza place, Squisito’s, and then Italian ice from Rita’s!
So now, let’s see some of the awesomeness you guys linked up this week! I am in a colorful dresser kind of mood tonight, so that’s what I will be sharing!
Love this one form Bonnie’s Bubble. The yellow is just so happy and perfect- this dresser is utterly charming!
Sharon from Elizabeth & Co shared this fabulous dresser which I could easily design an entire room around, because it is so worth it!
