I am happy today to welcome another new Sponsor, Vintage Shabby Chicks, who have become retailers for CeCe Caldwell’s paints! These two ladies, Julie & Sharon, have always been so sweet and supportive and I am very excited about their new venture. Here is what they have to say about the paint:
I have used the paint before on a couple of projects, and wanted to take this chance to show you a couple more projects I recently finished with CeCe’s paints. I had been dying to try out the bright and fun Spring Green, and I also got a can of Blue Montana Sky, and a can of wax to try. Each of these pieces was painted with just two coats of paint and then distressed and waxed. And let me tell you, this all natural wax applies in a much easier manner than most waxes. And a little goes a long way, so one can will get you pretty far. Here are my new pieces….
Spring Green Stool:
Seriously, how fun is this color? I LOVE it!!!
I used the Blue Montana Sky on a chair that was in need of a new seat. I had the new seat cut out and planned to cover it, but then I noticed one of the spindles on the chair back was cracked pretty badly. tried to glue it, but I just didn’t trust it so much, so I decided to make it a planter. I had more coral and red impatiens just waiting to sit in this pot. This chair sits by the actual front door (as opposed to the side door we most often use). Fun, right? And it fills a little bit of a void, because I really miss my white chippy chairs that were at my old house. I left them behind because I felt like they belonged there. (And please nevermind the wilty impatiens…. that is what happens when your 5 year old volunteers for watering duty).
Love those details!
I really love this paint and I love that it is eco friendly, packaged in recycled containers…. and made in the USA, baby! It is win win all around!
